About Cynthia.

My love of yoga started about 16 years ago after the birth of my third child. Yoga was a weekly treat I indulged in to destress and relax. When my youngest started kindergarten (12 yrs. ago) is when my regular practice started to evolve. As I immersed myself in the practice I lost weight, became strong, increased my mobility and grew emotionally and physically. I became a certified 200 Hour level teacher in 2013  at Chagrin Yoga and began to teach. I downsized my graphic design business as my yoga career grew.


My love of learning has led me to pursue my 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification. I attended 300 hours with Shiva Rea in Malibu and London which I completed July of 2018. I am also a certified MELT Method instructor. MELT is a treatment method using soft rubber balls and rollers to combat chronic pain, ease the effects of aging and active living. I enjoy and teach many styles of yoga including restorative, power, vinyasa and yin. When I'm not teaching I'm spending time with my family and animals and most likely outside. I have a fine art background and I enjoy using my hands to create art on paper, canvas, the computer, the kitchen or in the garden.

Cynthia was absolutely amazing! Such a beautiful flow and subtle cues... I haven't felt this relaxed in weeks! She definitely made the class great with her warmth and vibrant energy. Can't wait to take another class with her!

Strong and beautiful sequences - offering students opportunity to explore and deepen the poses. Closing yin sequence was just what I needed!!!!
